This is a moment in your life that should be carefully captured, and the images that we create in the studio will be admired and treasured by generations. There is something wonderful about knowing that there is a tiny life inside?. and even more wonderful to look back over the years and remember that time with amazement.
Jodie will personally work with you to determine the style of portraits that you would like to remember your pregnancy. There is a range of styles available and we will work together to find the style that you are comfortable with and suits you. Whether you choose a casual look with jeans, or a timeless portrait with flowing silk, Jodie will advise you on the best positioning to capture a flattering and beautiful portrait.
Your husband or partner is welcome to participate in your photography session. It is lovely to capture your interaction and love.
The studio has a separate change room which you may use to tend to your hair, makeup and clothing changes. There is plenty of time allocated to your session so that we can work together at a relaxed pace, and take a break whenever you need it.
It is recommended that your photography session is planned for around 35 weeks.
BABIES...
Nothing is more precious or beautiful than this tiny new life that you hold in your hands. A newborn photography session will capture this time with timeless images that will make your heart melt. These will be the most precious memories that you will ever have.
Jodie will capture all the details that make your baby who they are - those tiny toes, her little hands that hold onto your finger so tightly, the way he cuddles into your neck when he sleeps.
Jodie's approach to newborn photography is simplicity, your baby is so beautiful, we certainly don't need any props or costumes to detract from your baby. I ensure that your baby is the main focus of each image.
When photographing the new family, I like to capture your interaction with your baby as this gives me the ability to capture the love that bonds your family.
Newborns grow and change every day, and the tiny, sleepy, curly stage is really only there for the first 2 weeks. If this is the age that you would like to capture, it is recommended you contact the studio before your baby arrives to ensure that we can reserve a time for you. Of course, we will make every effort to accommodate you after your baby has arrived, and there is no limit to the age of the babies Jodie photographs, and each age has it?s own special features.
BEYOND...
It is so important to have a record of your family at different times in your life. Bebe Photography will capture portraits that you will be proud to display in your home, and share with your family and friends. Imagine how wonderful it will be to one day share these images with your grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Your portraits will become a family heirloom.
Too many times we hear Mums say "I am not in any photos because I am always the one taking them!" Well, you are a very important part of your children's lives and memories and your love for them and interaction with them should be documented and remembered always. Jodie considers it an honour to preserve these memories for you.
Jodie recommends that all children and family photography sessions are conducted outside. This allows your children to be themselves and let their personality shine.
Jodie will start your session by allowing the children to take the lead, and explore their surroundings - this is a great time to capture some candid images of the children individually and to capture your family's interaction. Later, when your child is at ease, Jodie will offer some direction to style your images.
Photography sessions are held at a location of your choice in the Perth Metro Area. Jodie can recommend some wonderful scenic locations where your family can relax, have fun and spend some much deserved time together. Some families like to make a day of it, and bring along a picnic to share after their session.
