My name is Christine Walker and I am a Qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant. I am available for Weddings, Naming Ceremonies, Funerals, and Recommitments.

Thinking of getting married in the Registry Office? Only want the simple, quick but senstive and professional ceremony?   I will marry you in your special place any where on the Gold Coast for the same cost as the Registry Office.

But if you want a ceremony of your choice with all the bells and whistles, then I have the solution for you also. As your Celebrant I promise to provide a professional, innovative, individual and unique ceremony. I am committed to the integrity, detail and sensitivity of the ceremonies I officiate.

I officiate Ceremonies from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Springbrook, Tamborine, Kingscliff, Byron Bay and as far as Ballina.

Whether it be a Marriage Celebrant, a Funeral Celebrant, a Baby Naming Ceremony, or someone to conduct a Recommitment Ceremony, I will create a unique ceremony just for you.

Naming Ceremonies

The Naming Ceremony is an excellent occasion for cultural expression of life, joy, hope, and acceptance.

Many people are using the non-religious naming service to celebrate the birth of their child. Many Christians, for example, do not believe in infant baptism so choose this naming celebration and then leave the child free to choose or not to choose baptism in their late teens. In fact, all Naming Ceremonies are done or performed on this principle.

I provide a simple and yet very memorable ceremony with certificates and ceremony memorabilia for a keepsake for the parents and the child when he/she grows up.

Funeral Ceremonies  
An increasing number of people say they are non-religious and may define their spirituality in different ways. A funeral, memorial, or celebration of life service that reflects an individual’s lifestyle and personality, often mirrors his or her unique nature.

As your celebrant my goal is to ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to participate in a meaningful ceremony when someone they love dies. Learning to live without the daily physical presence of a loved one is indeed, a journey. Meaningful end-of-life ceremonies can be a vital and integrative part of beginning to heal from loss.

I am happy to conduct, burials, creamation, memorial, or scatering of ashes ceremonies.  If you have lost a loved one, I would consider it a priviledge to be part of that final process.
