Gary Thompson from Indy Performance Pty. Ltd. has been working in the Emu Plains area for 24 years as one of the local mechanical repair businesses. \ \ He started business in 1983 at the Caltex service station opposite the Melrose Hall. After the site was sold back to the oil company for redevelopment in 1986, he moved to his current location in Smith Street - then the original industrial area of Emu Plains. After transforming these premises to an acceptable standard to do quality repairs, he reopened with the addition of a new staff member and an apprentice later joined the team in 2004. Both Scott and Jarrod have proved to be great assets to the business. Gary and his staff strive to achieve positive customer relations and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally friendly workshop. The business operates Monday to Friday, as all three staff members value family time and enjoy watersports on weekends. \ \ To ensure we keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology, we attend training courses when offered and have comprehensive diagnostic equipment needed to work on new vehicles. Although our work involves some performance cars, the majority of our work is the average family car and a large number of 4WD vehicles.
