Mark Avellino is a freelance photographer from Melbourne, who specializes in lifestyle and travel photography. His love of travel combined with a passion for photography has seen him travel with his camera to destinations as diverse as Morocco, Malta, Hungary and Spain to name but a few.
As an artist he has exhibited his work consistently over the last 10 years with exhibitions at the St James Cavalier - Malta; the Dutch Embassy - Washington DC USA; Gallery 612 - Philadelphia USA; Tuggeranong Arts Centre - ACT, Australia, Westspace and Chapel off Chapel Gallery - Melbourne, Australia.
As a photographer, Mark has worked as a team Photographer at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, P1 Motor Boat Race, Malta
Mark was co-founder in the organization and development of "Malta 24/7" - a 7 day 24 hour photographic shoot on the island of Malta. Documenting the island over 7 days, 21 photographers from around the world captured the islands lifestyle and culture. The resultant images were presented as an exhibition and book.
Mark has completed work on Through the Eyes of the Horse DVD, book, and Marketing collateral and recently completed work on the Resilience "Information Guide and Diary for Ovarian Cancer Australia".
He is represented by both Lonely Planet Images and Photoshot Image Library in the UK.
