RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT was established as boutique architectural practice in Fremantle, Western Australia in October 1991. Our professional experience covers all aspects of architectural design, documentation, contract administration, project management and practice management.\ \ RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT have had considerable experience in the area of building conservation and conservation planning. Prior to starting the practice Ralph worked on a variety of major heritage conservation projects including as the Project Manager of the Fremantle Prison Conservation and Future Use Project. Fremantle Prison has since been nominated as a World Heritage listed place. Before Fremantle Prison was decommissioned, Ralph was responsible for the restoration of the Convict Built main cell block after a prisoner riot and fire in 1988.\ \ Since establishing RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT we have been involved in a range of commercial, multiple residential and conservation projects in Fremantle and across Western Australia, as well as designing numerous new houses and additions and alterations to existing homes. In 1999, the Australian Institute of Architects awarded RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT the Architecture Award in the Recycled Category and a Commendation in the Multiple Residential Category for the conservation and adaptation of the Samson Bond Store, in the West End of Fremantle into 13 luxury residential dwellings.\ \ In 2001 RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT undertook several substantial heritage commissions for the Rottnest Island Authority including preparation of a Conservation Plan for Kingstown Barracks and the conservation works for Wadjemup Hill Signal Station.In 2002, the Australian Institute of Architects awarded RALPH HOARE ARCHITECT with a Commendation by the in the Heritage Conservation Category for our work on Wadjemup Hill Signal Station.\ \
