In 1971 Arne Baumann and Lindsay Hardy, with 60 years of building industry experience between them, established Mambare Pty Limited trading as Valley Homes. The company specialised in the construction of service stations for most of the major oil companies, as well as carrying out major projects for Grace Bros, Elcom (NSW) and a number of local Masonic groups.
In 1982, the company expanded its activities to include the Hunter Valley residential market and Valley Homes as we know it today was born.
Valley Homes has carried out major housing projects for the Commonwealth Department of Administrative Services, the Commonwealth Department of Housing and Construction, the Defence Housing Authority and the NSW Department of Housing as well as many projects for investors and owner-occupiers. Valley Homes constructs around 150 dwellings each year.
Valley Homes won the NSW Master Builders' 2008 Energy Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability Award.
Today, Valley Homes is proud of its reputation in the Hunter Valley as a builder of quality dwellings, sold at competitive prices with no hidden expenses.
